This programme is specifically designed to prepare the brain for learning. It is geared toward cihldren in nursery and in the early years of schooling.
Did You Know?
- Natural neurological preparedness for learning usually takes place in boys between the ages of 8-10 and in girls between the ages of 6-8 years old.
- We send most of our children to school, when they are neither prepared for nor ready to perform the complex neurological task of learning.
Research in brain development has highlighted some fascinating new discoveries, which emphasise the fact that the faculties of learning, thinking, attention, creativity and the ability to express our intelligence, are based on the well established development of sensory-motor skills. There is a sophisticated relationship between the brain and the other parts of the body - a conclusion that all researchers in brain science support.
How Do You Prepare the Brain for Learning?
"In Motion for Studying" is a programme that develops the networks of complex nerve systems required to learn and express our intelligence. These networks and contacts are physical entities and they can be stimulated and developed using physical means. Our brains respond to training and exercises exactly as the muscles in our body respond. A child who completes this programme is most unlikely to experience learning difficulties such as dyslexia in the future.
The programme comprises 10-16 individual lessons, consisting of a structured series of entertaining and amusing challenges, movements and games.
